Understanding Account Deletion vs. Deactivation

At CTRL+PLAY, we offer options to either temporarily deactivate your account or permanently delete it.

  • Account Deactivation: This is a temporary measure. Your profile will be hidden, and you won't receive notifications, but your data will be retained. You can reactivate your account at any time by logging back in.
  • Account Deletion: This is a permanent and irreversible action. All your personal data, booking history, and associated information will be permanently removed from our systems, subject to legal and operational requirements for data retention. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.

How to Permanently Delete Your Account

To permanently delete your CTRL+PLAY account, please follow these steps:

  1. Ensure all outstanding bookings are completed or canceled. Any active bookings must be resolved before deletion.
  2. Open the CTRL+PLAY mobile app or visit our website.
  3. Navigate to Profile.
  4. Locate the Permanently Delete Account option.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts. You may be asked to confirm your identity or provide a reason for deletion.
  6. Confirm your decision. You will receive a final warning about the irreversible nature of this action.

Upon successful submission, your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion. This process may take up to 30 days to complete, during which your account will be inaccessible. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is finalized.

How to Deactivate Your Account

To temporarily deactivate your CTRL+PLAY account:

  1. Open the CTRL+PLAY mobile app or visit our website.
  2. Navigate to Profile.
  3. Locate the Deactivate Account option.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deactivation.

Your account will be immediately hidden. You can reactivate it at any time by simply logging back into the app or website.
